Our experience in residential projects spans a variety of types, including single-storey extensions, minor alterations and additions such as pools and decks, to first-floor additions, dual occupancies, knock-down and new builds, as well as shop-top housing, and multi-dwellings.

Being a Class 2 registered design practitioner, we are able to design and work with residential flat buildings (RFB). We are required to address the issues in the Apartment Design Guide (ADG) and SEPP65 - Design Quality of Residential Apartment Development legislation under the Design & Building Practitioners Act 2020.

In this sector, we have worked on numerous projects of varying sizes. Some involved creating new spaces, while others were alterations and additions to existing retail or commercial premises. We have also managed fit-outs of cafes/restaurants, barber shops and projects requiring additional levels of commercial floors, or a combination of both. A couple of particularly complex projects involved underground car stackers in very tight spots. However, through teamwork, we successfully completed these projects, highlighting the invaluable contributions of trusted consultants.

Additionally, we have experience in the hospitality sector, having worked on alterations and additions to clubs (Place of Public Entertainment.)

Heritage

We have experience in the Heritage sector and have worked on various heritage-listed buildings and those within a Heritage Conservation Area, including the current building/renovation of a hotel, and other single residences.

Although we do not write Conservation Management Plans, we can guide you in the right direction if your property is listed in the Heritage Schedule of your LEP, whether it involves Aboriginal Cultural and Archaeological Heritage or Historical Archaeological Heritage.
